Inveterate meddling #209: Applying CD3.5 mod#7 to the Naim CD5
There's a small wrinkle if you try applying mod #7 to the CD5 - the layout of the four resistors is different, and it won't work directly.
The correct way to implement it is straightforward though. Here is the board layout before:
The supply rail of about +18v comes to the junction of resistors marked 2 and 3, so you lift here, add-in 10-22K, and a 10uF cap to ground, like this:
-just remember to watch polarity if you use a tant cap like this. Plug in and enjoy.
